Although I live in a part of Boston nicknamed Rat City I live right on the border of a very nice town. People have yards and actual gardens. It's a much nicer area to walk in so let's go.
All the greens! Very nice.
Hmmm is this Wisteria? I need a plant expert on this walk.
Flowery privacy.
Don't worry I was! Thanks for joining me on my walk.
That IS wisteria and i wish mine were even half as well behaved! The scent from them is glorious though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for confirming! I wasn't quite sure. Hopefully you'll get that plant in line ;)
DeleteI had not heard that Rat City nickname! Are there literally a lot of rats in Allston? It also has Christmas in September, though!
ReplyDeleteThere are. I think due to the large amount of college students and people being lazy about disposing of their trash properly. Luckily my current building is pretty well maintained but the last two I lived in had rat problems in the basements and outside near the trash.
DeleteWhat a great area for a walk! Kinda makes me feel like sneezing, though. And I love the old style houses with their porches. I miss porches.
ReplyDeleteI love a nice porch. When we actually buy a house that's something I want. Doesn't matter if it's out front or out back but I want a porch.
DeleteVery pretty! Now I want a porch.
ReplyDeleteI wish people would wear masks here in the UK!
I feel like most people around Boston are wearing them. It's a small thing we can do to hopefully help slow the spread. It's really not asking for too much to wear a mask if you're psychically able to.
DeleteWhat a beautiful walk! I love houses with cute front porches.
ReplyDeleteMe too! We're big on porches here in New England.
