A shopping problem and Dark Shadows

Why do I have two brooms? Because I'm an idiot and forgot I actually brought my broom with me when I moved, so I bought a new one at Target last night. I do this all the time! I think I need something and purchase said something and I actually did have whatever I needed all along.

So yea anyone want to come over and sweep with me? It's fun because you have obstacles like cats on the floor, one of which tries to eat the broom bristles.

After my Target outing I watched Dark Shadows. It was ok but something was off about the movie. I wanted it to be more eerie. I mean its vampires and witches! Tim Burton can do that. Edward Scissor Hands is a good example of what I mean. It's not meant to be scary but it just has this off kilter feeling. I won't get into the lack of character development. Wasn't Victoria hired to be the nanny for the little boy? They barely had any scenes together. Not his best work but I'm glad I didn't waste my money seeing it in the theaters.

Arts and crafts your beer can

Take a sticker and slap it on a can of PBR. You just arts and crafted your beer can! How cool am I? Get me some unicorn stickers and I'll show you what I can really do.

The Bath & Body Works bait and switch

When I was at my cousin's wedding last weekend I discovered a new lotion that I absolutely love.

Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena lotion.

I'm very picky about lotion. Too much perfume and I'll get a headache and/or I'll break out in a rash. This lotion is the perfect balance of coconut and lime and no rash! It's perfect for summer. The only problem is I have a teeny tiny bottle of it. It was the lotion provided by the hotel so of course I took it home with me. I figured I could just buy more from Bath & Body works but of course they don't make it any more.

Bath & Body Works enjoys getting me hooked on a lotion and then being like "sorry, we decide to stop making this amazing lotion that you love but here's one that's kind of the same". Just keep making the one that I like!

The replacement is Coconut Lime Breeze.

It is a bit different but its got lime its got coconut so I will use it and smell delicious. Just stop playing games like this Bath & Body Works.

My new favorite lipstick

When a product claims to last 24 hours I usually don't believe it but ladies for once it is true! At the suggestion of a friend I decided to give Maybelline 24 hour SuperStay lip color a try. You can eat, drink, kiss you boyfriend, kiss you cats and it does not come off. I actually go up to people and wipe my hand across my mouth and show them my clean hand like it's a magic trick. It comes in 36 colors including bright sexy red.

Apply like a lip gloss and give it a minute or two to dry and then use the other end to seal everything in and moisturize. That's it! Go drink some drinks and kiss some things.

Do not watch Orphan Black while intoxicated

Especially the pilot episode. You will look like this and ask out loud "what the heck is happening?!" The only reason why I decided to watch Orphan Black was because I thought David Tennant was in it but intoxicated Ginny was getting her shows confused.

Anyways, it's good stuff. Yea for having cable and BBC America. Watch it sober or intoxicated.

Things I would buy if I could. The Cat edition.

I saw this sign on my way home from work yesterday and I want it for my apartment so bad. It's pretty much the best business sign I've ever seen.

I would like to meet whoever painted this and shake his or her hand. Perfection.

I have another cat item that I would like to buy but I can't find the source of this photo.

Kitty skyscraper cat scratcher! My cats would love this. There are a few DIY versions but they involve wooden dowels and a lot of work. There has to be a version on the internet that I can buy.

If anyone happens to come across a skyscraper cat scratcher please let me know. I could wait until my hangover subsides and search again but I'm feeling lazy.

I accidentally bought a large amount of chocolate

I've been looking everywhere for a bag of White Chocolate Reese's. After coming up empty handed I decided to just buy a bag on Amazon. The problem is that I bought four bags instead of one. I didn't realize I was buying in bulk until after I hit purchase. I think I know how to solve this problem and it involves my mouth.
