This is probably why I don't like lobster

When I was five years old my father brought home a lobster and let my brother and I play with it on the kitchen floor. I was pretty upset when I discovered my "new pet" was dinner. My mother was pretty mad at my father for that one.

  1. And of course I find this hysterical! Lol.. We had a lot of farm animals and we had a rule, if the kids named it, we couldn't/wouldn't eat it.. :) - The visual of you and your brother playing with a lobster made me laugh out loud for real.

    1. that's a good rule. I can't remember if we named the lobster but I'm sure I probably did because I name everything.

    1. I don't eat lobster either and I get flashbacks when I see them in the supermarket.

  3. HA! I remember in middle school when we dissected frogs, they told us to name the frogs for some reason. But playing with your food- literally- is way worse.
