So I guess I lied, there is a little bit of a plan or at least a general idea.
Ok, onto other blog topics.
I have two shows that I'm really into now. One of them I pretty much binged watched this weekend.
Sense8 on Netflix. Eight people around the world suddenly discover they're linked mentally. They can "visit" each other and experience each other's emotions and can even take over each other's bodies (usually, when one needs help). Oh and they're being hunted down. Fair warning, there is quite a bit of sex in this show. Sometimes I think it took away from the story and I'd be like ok, can we get on with it already! It's still worth a watch though. I thought it was really interesting and can't wait for Season 2.
Sun is my favorite character.
I feel like if I was sense8 I would be useless to other people in my cluster. Like what can you do? Um well I'm good at being sarcastic and remembering song lyrics. Let me know if you need me to help you out with Karaoke.
The other show I'm watching is Mr. Robot on USA. A hacker with social anxiety and Christian Slater? Yes please! Apparently there's a big twist and I'm trying hard to avoid internet spoilers.
So if you're a tv addict like me and need some new shows, I would suggest Sense8 and Mr. Robot.
I think you so have the right idea on the wedding.
ReplyDeleteOh, Congratulations.
Thanks Joeh!
DeleteI need to check out both those shows. And congrats on the engagement!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gia!
DeleteSounds like my kinda wedding! Glad you're not (planning on) going all Bridezilla on us! But I'll still read if you do.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I started watching sens8. We watched about 3 episodes, and it looked like it had potential, but yeah lotsa sex. I don't mind lotsa sex so much, but it just didn't seem to have a whole lot to do with the show, just maybe the creators like to have lotsa sex scenes? Maybe we'll give it another go.
I stuck with it and after about 4 or 5 episodes in it started getting really good.
DeleteAs you may know I'm a dj, and I'm proud to say I have never played the chicken dance, so I really hope that means I'm not crap!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling you're a good DJ
DeleteHa ha I guess it's hard to not do any planning
ReplyDeleteI have had two weddings, and even keeping them both minimal the prep was still plenty stressful! I'm sure it could have been worse, though. My one piece of advice: don't rely on friends or relatives to do the really important jobs, like recording the event. During my first wedding, my father-in-law, a professional artist, did all the photography, but he had one setting on his camera wrong, so we ended up with stacks of blurry photos. For my second wedding I hired a pro photographer, so that was all good, but my brother-in-law offered to do a video for us... and never actually edited the footage or gave it to us. So there is no video. Ah well, at least the second husband is a keeper! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI plan on hiring a professional photographer. I haven't decided on the video but I feel like I could have two people record it and then pic the best one? I'm not as worried about video but I do want nice pictures.
DeleteI didn't even think about asking about wedding stuff. Just have a party at the golden temple. I can, however, offer my help with hair and makeup. I just did my friend's bridesmaids makeup.
ReplyDeleteI would love that. I wonder if you can rent out the E room (where the dance floor is). I could use help with hair and makeup. I might take you up on that.
