So I saw Deadpool

Last night I saw Deadpool with Germana, Fiona and Derek. It was an enjoyable movie film and I laughed quite a bit. There were no outraged parents with their children in attendance.

I can't imagine anyone else besides Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Some people were just meant to play a certain roll.

I started reading The Girl on the Train, which I borrowed through the Boston Public Library on my kindle. Isn't technology great? I'm not that far into it but I feel like there has to be some big twist. I'm trying very hard to avoid spoilers.

Derek and I are going to Regina's for a pizza date tonight. Happy almost weekend! Let's celebrate with massive amounts of cheese.

I don't normally participate in throw back Thursday but I found this old photo and it made me really happy because it was such a fun night. I was 23 here and something happened to my shirt before my friend Melissa's birthday party (she's the taller brunette) so I had to borrow a shirt from her. I should have borrowed a matching bra too. This was one of many epic dentist office parties (I'll have to explain what a dentist office party is in a future blog post).

  3. I've only seen the Deadpool trailer and I want to see the whole thing. I'm glad you were able to see it without outraged parents and inappropriate kids.

I read "Girl on the Train". I liked it at first, then things sorta flattened out for me. I notice I gave it 3 stars over at goodreads. Interested to know what you think.

    Dentist office party??

    1. I thought the same way about the book. The ending was a bit meh. Not horrible but I just wanted more.

  4. I keep hearing about that book but haven't read it. I hear mixed things about it. Epic dentist office party? Does everyone take hits on laughing gas?

    1. I did like it, and would recommend it to people. I think the end was a bit of a let down after the whole build up. It wasn't a bad ending, I just wanted a bit more from it.
