It's finally happening!

The season premiere of the Walking Dead is less than a week away! AMC had a series recap special that was on yesterday and it was a good refresher as to what's happened over the course of the show. Fiona is catching up and will be watching with me on Sunday. I'm getting my box of tissues ready because someone is dead (we just don't know who yet) and the episode teaser got me all worked up.

I can't wait for Sunday! This is going to be me.

How to survive Valentine's Day like it's the zombie apocalypse

Are you single this Valentine's Day? As someone who has spent many a Valentine's Day single here are some tips from me to you. If you're having a hard time coping it's time to go into survival mode and treat Valentine's Day like it's the zombie apocalypse.

1. You might think you're all alone but you will find others.

2. That guy that you slept with that you swore was a one time thing. Maybe he's not so bad and maybe you can't afford to be too picky here.

3. Don't trust a guy who gives himself a fake title like "the Governor". Also if he has an eye patch find out what happened to his eye. If some other woman took his eye out he's probably trouble.

4. Maybe you're not looking for a date on Valentine's Day. May I suggest taking up a hobby like sword fighting.

5. If taking up a hobby seems like too much effort just get a big can of pudding and go to town.

6. After you fall into your pudding coma you'll start dreaming of that perfect guy or girl. You're welcome!

I hope you have a happy Valentine's Day filled with unrealistic expectations and pudding from a can!

Just look at the flowers

Woke up with heartburn this morning. Fun times. Luckily it got better as the day went on. Overall my reflux has been doing fairly well but I've been letting my diet slip a bit so I need to be a little more careful.

I got to Skype with my brother and his family today. My nephew was running around like a little maniac. I was exhausted just watching him but he is adorable. My sister in law is due at the end of April with baby number two, a girl.

So the Walking Dead tonight....wow. It's been a while since there's been an episode that made me go "oh my God!" What a sad but great episode. Carol is one of my favorite characters.

Finally someone talks about food on the Walking Dead

Every time I watch the Walking Dead I wonder why no one is talking about all the food they can't eat anymore. Everyone would hate me in the zombie apocalypse because all I would talk about is food. "Hey remember Chinese food? I could really go from some crab rangoon right about now." Finally, someone talked about food on the Walking Dead!

“I hearby declare we have spaghetti Tuesdays on Wednesday...but first we have to find some spaghetti."

Thank you Herschel! Now this zombie apocalypse is much more realistic.
